COLLECTION AND PURPOSE

Incept Labs collects information that you specifically provide to Us in the course of your use of our Instrument Website (referred to as Provided Personal Information). In addition, We also collect cookies from your computer, which enables Us to understand how you use the Instrument Website, to help Us customise your website experience, and to improve the experience for all users (referred to as Experience Information).

Provided Personal Information includes personally identifying information, and may include your name, email address, and date of birth. It also includes non-personally identifying information, such as responses to question inventories. We use this information for assessment and/or research purposes.

If you have been directed to the Instrument Website by an organisation as part of an admissions, application, or assessment process (an Assessment Client), We will provide Our assessment outcome to one or more Assessment Clients. This assessment is to assist the Assessment Client with an application that you have made to them, and the Assessment Client is the final decision maker with respect to your application. We will provide this assessment to additional Assessment Clients if We have a commercial relationship with them, and if you contact Us and request that We do so. This may be facilitated by another Assessment Client. We will also use information to continuously monitor and improve the instruments and inventories that we have.

If you have been directed to the Instrument Website by an organisation that has engaged Incept Labs to undertake research (a Research Client), We will use Provided Personal Information for research purposes only. We may also use the Provided Personal Information to obtain additional information about you from a Research Client.

Experience Information includes information about how you use, and interact with, the Instrument Website. However, it is not linked to your Provided Personal Information. The Experience Information that we collect from you will be analysed in an aggregate fashion, facilitated by third party service providers.

DISCLOSURE

We may disclose Provided Personal Information to our service providers who assist us in operating the Instrument Website in order to diagnose and resolve technical issues, and improve our overall quality of service. We will not disclose your Provided Personal Information to an unrelated third party who is not a service provider, Assessment Client, or Research Client without your express written consent.

However, we are unable to provide you with access to, or correct, information which is a response to an inventory or assessment question. Incept Labs has processes in place to ensure the security of your Provided Personal Information and Experience Information, including encryption of all data when it is transferred to Our service providers and clients, and limitations on access to personal information within Incept Labs.

Storage and TRANSFER OUT OF AUSTRALIA

The Instrument Website is hosted in Australia. All Provided Personal Information collected via the Instrument Website is stored within Australia.

Third-Party Instrument Websites are hosted outside of Australia, principally in the European Union. Provided Personal Information collected via a Third-Party Instrument Website will be stored in the country in which the website is hosted and transferred to Australia.

Not all Experience Information is stored in Australia. We may transfer some or all Experience Information collected on the Instrument Website, but not Personal Provided Information, to our hosting service provider and other service providers in the United States of America. You hereby consent to this transfer.
